Tasting Notes
My first Greek Amyndeon Red tasting experience.
Region: Florina
Grape Variety: 50% Xinomavro and 50% Syrah
ABV: 14%
Stopper: Cork
Full bodied red wine.
Pale garnet red in colour, on the nose, aromas of blackberry and liquorice with notes of vanilla. High tannins. Well-balanced in acidity. Savory and classic red wine in style. On the palate, rich, oaky and woody, rounded, jammy and fruit-driven, delivers ripe and red fruits flavour with hint of pepper, complex red. It has long finish.
